The United Nations Development Program Special Award for Marine and Coastal Zone Management, and the UNDP Equator Award for Community Based Development were awarded to the Bio-rock coral reef restoration project, 'Karang Lestari' in Pemuteran Bay, Bali, during the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 20th 2012.
